39 New 52-week highs that appreciated 1%+ today. Some of the notable movers include:

  • High RS Chinese stocks are tearing it up with $QIHU, $NTE and $SFUN being among the best performers today
  • The Housing recovery theme still drives the market. Building materials and construction stocks continue to shine: $APOG, $AGX, $TXI, $HW $ICA
  • Security and protection svs stocks $CEO broke out to 3yr highs on heavy volume
  • $DST broke out to mul-year highs on strong volume
  • Prisons’ keeper $GEO broke out to new 3yr highs on expectations of record special dividend announcement

StockTwits50 Notables:

  • The best performers from last week – 3D Printing stocks $DDD and $SSYS, and gun stocks $RGR and $SWHC, were among the worst hit today. Natural and expected consolidation through price after big moves in the past couple weeks
  • Chinese Search Engine $QIHU broke out a multi-week base and gained 10% on heavy volume
